2016 Band Director Workshop
The McCracken Middle School Bands is proud to host the 2016 Band Director Workshop on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Sponsored by the
Illinois Grade School Music Association and the National Band Association, the BDW 2016 will provide attendees with a day filled with
quality, relevant professional development. The day will be scheduled with a mix of clinic sessions, open rehearsals, and performances
designed to educate and inspire both young and experienced directors.
We have a tremendous lineup of guest clinicians and ensembles for this year's workshop including Richard Floyd, Julie DeRoche, Andrew Hitz,
Chip De Stefano, the Northwestern University Symphonic Band (Shawn Vondran, conductor), and the McCracken Middle School Symphonic Band.
