Concert Band and Intermediate Band March Concert
Congratulations to the McCracken Middle School Concert Band and Skokie School District 73.5 Intermediate Band for their outstanding performance at their March 18 concert!
There will be no Intermediate Band the afternoon of March 19, but both bands will start preparing for our May 17 All Bands Concert next week.

PHOTOS: 2010 Little People Band Festival
Congratulations to the McCracken Middle School Concert Band for their great performance at the 2010 Little People Band Festival held at North Chicago High School on Wednesday, March 17. It’s amazing how far this band has improved over the past several months, and it really showed in their performance. After our performance the Concert Band received a great clinic from Sandra Thompson and Jeff Jay. What a great day!

IGSMA District Contest
Congratulations to the members of the McCracken Middle School Symphonic Band who earned a Division I (superior) rating at the Illinois Grade School Music Association District 7 Organization contest today. The McCracken 7th Grade Choir and 8th Grade Swing Choir also received Division I ratings with the 7th grade receiving perfect scores from all three judges.
Once again we must thank the countless number of parents who gave up another Saturday to help us host this contest. McCracken could not have been represented better!

Beginner Band Concert
A HUGE congratulations to the Middleton Beginner Band for the outstanding job they did tonight at their first ever concert. Thank you to the McCracken Middle School Symphonic Band for performing their contest repertoire for the beginner parents and students at the concert.
