Beginner Band Concert
On Wednesday, March 1 at 7:00 PM in the McCracken Gym the Middleton Elementary School Beginner Band will present their first concert of the year. The students have been working very hard to prepare this program and they will certainly do a great job.
In order to provide parents with an idea of their child’s development over the next several years, the McCracken Symphonic Band will perform selections from works they are preparing for the upcoming IGSMA Band Contest.

IGMSA Solo and Ensemble Contest
Best of luck to all McCracken Band and Choir students who will be participating in this weekends Illinois Grade School Music Association Solo and Ensemble Contest.
All students using a school accompanist have their final rehearsal with their pianist this Friday. Don’t miss it!

McCracken Solo and Ensemble Recital
This weekend we have 82 students participating in the McCracken Solo and Ensemble Recital to help our students prepare for the IGSMA Solo and Contest the following weekend. Good luck to everyone performing!

Mrs. Wylie Golden Apple Finalist
CONGRATULATIONS to Karen Wylie, Kindergarden teacher at Elizabeth Meyer Primary School, for being named as one of 30 finalists for the Golden Apple Award. Winners will be awarded in mid-March. Best of Luck in the final round!
