Christian Lindberg is arguably the world's greatest trombone soloist. Although all of his dozens of recordings are worthy of this list, I'll only list my very favorite. Although a really close second is Romantic Trombone Concertos and This CD is worth it for the first track alone. Even though I've owned this album for over a decade and listened to it hundreds of times, I'm still awed by the brilliance of technique displayed.
